Amy Eskilson
Inrad Optics, USA
Amy Eskilson has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Inrad Optics since 2013. Amy is focused on growing an organization that delivers custom built products with extraordinary optical specifications to leading corporations worldwide.
Prior to joining the Inrad Optics team, Amy spent 18 years with Thorlabs, Inc., the photonic tools catalogue company. As the Director of Business Development, Amy coordinated company acquisitions, fostered the development of multiple partner companies, and managed technology transfers and IP License agreements.
She serves as an Optica representative on the National Photonics Initiative Steering Committee, is the current Chair of the Optica Corporate Engagement Council, and is a member of the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Partnership Board of Trustees (NJMEP). In 2021, Amy was honored to be elected as a member of the Optica Class of Fellows.
As a longtime advocate for optics and photonics technical training and workforce development initiatives, Amy works to build awareness of both the opportunities and risks facing the advanced manufacturing labor force in the United States.
