TEAM AWARD

Nominate a team for the 2012 Paul Forman Engineering Excellence Award

To recognize teams who have made major contributions in optical engineering, OSA presents the Engineering Team Excellence Awards. Named in honor of Paul F. Forman, whose approach admirably exemplified team achievements, these awards recognize technical achievements such as product engineering, process and software development, and patent development, as well as contributions to society such as engineering education, publication and management, and furthering public appreciation of optical engineering. OIDA member companies are invited to nominate a team to acknowledge key achievements made by those in the engineering community who otherwise might not receive public recognition.

The nomination deadline is 2 July, 2012 and the award will be presented during the FiO 2012 conference plenary session in Rochester, NY in October 2012.
