This month, OIDA presented the “Photonic Integration for High-Capacity Data Transport: Commercial Needs, Opportunities and Deployment” workshop in Toronto, Canada. OIDA member company Infinera sponsored this very successful meeting.
Participants were surveyed directly after the workshop and the feedback was uniformly positive! The keynote presentation by Infinera Co-Founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, David Welch was a high point of the day, as were the individual presentations and networking opportunities. Look for a summary report of the workshop materials next month. The report, presentation slides and audio recordings are freely available to OIDA member companies and meeting attendees.

A roadmap report will be published and distributed to members in July.
