Paul Davidovits received his Ph.D. from Columbia University. Today, he is Professor of Chemistry at Boston College. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. In 2000, he received OSA’s R. W. Wood Prize “for seminal contributions to confocal microscopy.”
